Through the Years

Over the decades, Local 59’s members have contributed to constructing and maintaining elevator systems that serve hospitals, schools, and businesses, ensuring accessibility and safe vertical transportation in the region. Local 59 has also steadily contributed to the local workforce, investing in apprenticeship education and continuing education programs for qualified mechanics.

Today

Today, Local 59 is home to 91 active members and has said goodbye to 39 retirees, all of who have played a role in shaping Local 59’s legacy. The enduring success of Local 59 reflects its unwavering commitment to its craft, its workers, and the community it serves.
